The Job or The Art - Balancing

I'm in the midst of a quandry. My job, which I need in order to eat (at least until our house sale goes through) is seriously putting a crimp in my life.

Working full time is something most people would love. I like working, but for my goals and my personal sanity, I would rather work part time. It has been over a year since I was working full time, and I forgot what it was like. I am exhausted by the end of the day. With Christian also working full time (and then some) the only time we can do errands is at night. We both wake up early, which means after errands, we just collapse into bed.

I hate it.

I know many people might like this type of living, but for me, it is wretched. The reason is I have no time to actually sit down and write. I haven't been able to even keep up with my workouts because it was severely cutting into sleep.

So, this leaves me with several options. 1 - I can quit as soon as our house is sold, regardless. 2 - I can find a part time job and then quit. 3 - I can stay as is.

You can guess where I'm leaning. Let's hope it works out folks. I have a few books I need to write!
